BEST-NPZ Lower trophic level model output

This data set contains model output from the first multi-year run of the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Nutrient, Phytoplankton and Zooplankton (BEST-NPZ) model. The model was run from 1998 (spin-up year) through the end of 2009. CORE2 atmospheric forcing was used from 1998 through 2004, and Climate For...

Description
Summary:This data set contains model output from the first multi-year run of the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Nutrient, Phytoplankton and Zooplankton (BEST-NPZ) model. The model was run from 1998 (spin-up year) through the end of 2009. CORE2 atmospheric forcing was used from 1998 through 2004, and Climate Forecast System Reanalysis (CFSR) forcing was used from 2004 through 2009. Mean and standard deviation for model output were determined for each of the sixteen Bering Sea Project regions. Model output are in three files, all Excel format. BEST-NPZ_40m_run1: Model state variables averaged over the upper 40 meters; BEST-NPZ_100m_run1: Model state variables averaged over the upper 100 meters; BEST-NPZ_production_run1: Production integrated over the upper 100 meters.
