Summary: | The Seasonal Ice Zone Reconnaissance Survey (SIZRS) deploy dropsondes along 150W and 140W longitude lines over the Beaufort Sea in summer and early fall once a month, by the Coast Guard Arctic Domain Awareness flight C-130 aircraft from 2013 to 2015. The soundings have been preliminary quality-checked and converted to NetCDF format. The naming convention of the NetCDF files is as follows: YYYYMMDD_hhmmss-*********.nc, by date (YYMMDD), time (hhmmss), and the serial number of the dropsonde (*'s). |
