Description
Summary:Datasets collected in summers 2015-2016 throughout the Kenai River watershed as part of the EPSCoR Aquatic Ecology program. Data types include water temperature, air temperature, juvenile Chinook and Coho salmon weight, length, and diet contents. We identified stomach contents to Order or Family in the laboratory and used them to estimate diet contents. We employed these datasets as part of a manuscript (Meyer et al., in prep) that examined juvenile Chinook and Coho growth rates under various future climate and diet scenarios. Manuscripts that employ the data described here will be linked to when published in the year 2020. Notes on file organization: • Each zip file contains a dataset organized by type (water temperature, air temperature, etc.) and year (2015 or 2016). • Each zip file contains a single Excel file with multiple tabs, as well as each individual tab saved as a separate csv file.
