Description
Summary:A tethered balloon system was deployed by the U. of Alaska, Fairbanks at the ice station. Soundings were taken on selected days throughout the 13 month deployment period. This dataset contains radiometer data from a cube-like sensor suspended approximately 30m below the balloon which measured hemispherical radiation in all directions. Unfortunately, due to a cable problem only 4 data files from the campaign contained good data. Most of the data files contain one ascending and one descending profile. These data was obtained between 9/14/98 and 9/21/98.
