Description
Summary:Weather station located on the William Holmes research center building. The rain bucket is located 40 meters to the southeast of the station. Rainfall measured using an Onset RG3-M rain gauge with 0.2 mm pendant, the rain gage is located 40 cm above the ground and is equipped wind with a wind screen model 260-953, manufactured by Novalynx. Air temperature and relative humidity is measure at 3m above the ground using a Onset U23-001 Pro v2 air temperature, and relative humidity sensor in addition to an Onset S-TMB-M002 temperature and relative humidity sensor, and a S-LIB-M003 barometric pressure sensor all placed in a Onset RS1 radiation shield. In addition this station is equipped with a Silicon Pyranometer Sensor and Light Sensor Bracket to measure incoming solar radiation. Wind direction and intensity are measured by a wind monitor, (R.M. Young Company, model 05103).
