Description
Summary:This product includes all components of the surface energy budget at Summit, Greenland as well as some atmospheric drivers of variability in that budget over the period of 1/2011 to 6/2014. Individual energy budget terms include the upwelling and downwelling longwave and shortwave radiation, turbulent sensible heat flux, turbulent latent heat flux, and sub-surface heat flux. Supporting measurements include near surface meteorology and cloud liquid water path. Raw measurements used to determine these various parameters were made by the NSF ICECAPS project (PIs: Von Walden, Matthew Shupe, David Turner, Ralf Bennartz), the NSF CIBS project (PI: David Noone), ETH (PI: Koni Steffen), and NOAA at Summit, Greenland.
