Description
Summary:Weather Station installed on the lateral moraine of Chamberlin glacier (1750m asl) in May 2015. The weather station measures air temperature, relative humidity, ground temperature at 2cm and 30 cm as well as rainfall. Rainfall measured using an Onset RG3-M rain gauge with 0.2 mm pendant, the rain gage is located 40 cm above the ground and is equipped wind with a wind screen model 260-953, manufactured by Novalynx. Air temperature and relative humidity is measure at 2m above the ground using a Onset U23-001 Pro v2 air temperature, and relative humidity sensor placed in a Onset RS3 radiation shield. Ground temperature measure with a Onset U23-003 ground temperature sensors, the sensors are located at 2 and 30cm below the ground level.
