Summary:This data package contain information of butterflies trapped by standard methods in 1999-2003, in the Kilpisjärvi area, NW Finland. Traps were set for entire summer. Number of traps varied between 15 to 22 traps / year. Two light-traps were used each year with varied number of baited and feromone traps. Data is typed to to the species level. Yearly number of species varied between 35 to 58 species / year, total number of species were 73. In total, over 60 000 individuals were calculated, majority of species being Autumnal moths (Epirrita autumnata).
