Description
Summary:The data files available here contain those for the physical characteristics of the water droplet and the evolving splash structure ejected from the bed surface by a water droplet. The dataset includes the concentrations of particulate matter from the splash structure less than or equal to 10 µm (PM10) measured at varying wind speeds for Eyjafjallajökull ash deposits in wind tunnel simulations. The four Icelandic samples used to perform these simulations are Ash (fine and coarse), Mixed, Glacio1, and Glacio2. The data files also include the particle characteristics (size and surface area) for all samples collected between 2017 and 2018 and used in this study. The researcher performed the experiments in Trent Environmental Wind Tunnel, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, K9J 7B8.
