Summary: | Under-ice transmitted hyperspectral irradiance data (HyperOCR, Satlantic) from a subsurface oceanographic mooring deployed and calibrated to field-based chlorophyll-a concentration was obtained to determine the timing and magnitude of ice algal and phytoplankton blooms in Dease Strait, Nunavut, Canada for 2017 and 2019. We note that a fluorometer (ECO-Triplet, Wetlabs) was attached to the mooring to record in vivo chlorophyll-a fluorescence. **All data are on a daily timescale.** |
