Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, Thermosalinograph, and Fluorometer during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG1110 conducted in 2011 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ann Bucklin). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Bathymetry, Navigation, Fluorescence, Visible Radiation, Conductivity, Salinity, Infrared Radiation, Meteorological, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Cape Shirreff Opening, Collaborative Research: Gene expression profiles of the Southern Ocean salp, Salpa thompsoni, and Acoustic Assessment of Southern Ocean Salps and Their Ecosystem Impact, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT09-44042 and ANT10-44982.
