Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, Fluorometer, Echosounder Sonar, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0102 conducted in 2001 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Craig Smith). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Temperature, Salinity, Conductivity, Navigation, Fluorescence, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Bathymetry, and Infrared Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Bentho-Pelagic Coupling on the West Antarctic Peninsula Shelf: The Impact and Fate of Bloom Material on the Shelf Floor, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT98-15823.
