Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, Echosounder Sonar, Navigation system, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0501 conducted in 2005 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Arnold Gordon). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Conductivity, Visible Radiation, Meteorological, Salinity, Temperature, Fluorescence, Infrared Radiation, Navigation, and Bathymetry data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): ANSLOPE mooring recovery, Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic Reconstructions of the Southwest Pacific, and Interannual Variability in the Antarctic-Ross Sea (IVARS): Nutrients and Seasonal Production, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-25172, OPP01-26334, OPP01-26340, ANT03-38317, and ANT00-87401.
