Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Meteorological Sensor, Thermosalinograph, Fluorometer, Navigation system, and Echosounder Sonar during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0705 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Bruce Sidell). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Meteorological, Visible Radiation, Salinity, Infrared Radiation, Temperature, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Navigation, and Bathymetry data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Differential Expression of Oxygen-Binding Proteins in Antarctic Fishes Affecting Nitric Oxide-Mediated Pathways of Angiogenesis and Mitochondrial Biogenesis and Habitat Utilization of Southern Ocean Seals: Foraging Behavior of Crabeater and Elephant Seals Using Novel Methods of Oceanographic Data Collection, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT04-37887 and ANT04-40687.
