Summary: | This data set was acquired with a ship-based Fluorometer, Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, Navigation system, and Meteorological Sensor during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0902 conducted in 2009 (Chief Scientist: Dr. David DeMaster). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Conductivity, Fluorescence, Meteorological, Navigation, Bathymetry, Infrared Radiation, Visible Radiation, and Temperature data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Benthic faunal feeding dynamics on the Antarctic Shelf and the effects of global climate change on betho-pelagic coupling, Search for late Mesozoic vertebrate fossils on Livingston Island, and Causes of mass extinction during the late Cretaceous age in Antarctica, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT06-36639, ANT06-36773, and ANT06-36806.
