Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based Knudsen 320BR Echosounder Sonar, Fluorometer, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, and Thermosalinograph during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0402 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Christopher Measures). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Salinity, Bathymetry, Meteorological, Conductivity, Temperature, Navigation, Fluorescence, Infrared Radiation, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Plankton Community Structure and Iron Distribution in the Southern Drake Passage, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT02-30445.
