Description
Summary:This data set was acquired with a ship-based ODEC Bathy2000 Echosounder Sonar, Thermosalinograph, Turner Designs 10-AU-005 Fluorometer, Kongsberg EM120 Multibeam Sonar system, Meteorological Sensor, Navigation system, and Fluorometer during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP0408 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Stan Jacobs). These data files are of JGOFS format and include Navigation, Bathymetry, Fluorescence, Conductivity, Infrared Radiation, Temperature, Meteorological, Salinity, and Visible Radiation data. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Cross-Slope Exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front (AnSlope), Leg 3 and Collaborative Research: Cross-slope exchanges at the Antarctic Slope Front (ANSLOPE), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OPP01-25172.
