Description
Summary:This data set consists of chemical analysis of samples from the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Study of the Northern Alaska Coastal System - Mercury (SNACS-Hg) project "Collaborative Research on Snow and Ice Processes in the Deposition and Fate of Mercury in the Arctic". The data are chemical measurements along with classification codes. The file contains all data from 2004, 2005, and 2007 field campaigns. The data set consists of more than 1400 snow samples, many of which were sampled in duplicate or triplicate and analyzed for major ion and mercury concentrations.
