Description
Summary:These data were collected from process stations and other stations where bulk chlorophyll (Chl) measurements were taken on the following Bering Sea Ecosystem Study (BEST) cruises: HLY08-02, HLY08-03, HLY09-02, KN195-10, TN249 and TN250. Data presented are direct pico- and nano-phytoplankton counts by flow cytometry and direct counts of microphytoplankton by inverted microscopy. Data were collected during cruises from the United States Coast Guard Icebreaker Healy, UNOLS R/V Knorr, R/V Thompson. Note: This is version 2 of the data, updated December 2011.
