Description
Summary:Biome distributions for Beringia were simulated for the Late Quaternary periods by employing a global equilibrium biogeochemistry-biogeography model, BIOME4. This model was driven by the same numerical climate model outputs as used for the frozen ground mapping, and validated against the above pollen-based biomes. Projection of future biomes for the region has also been produced.
