Summary:Microzooplankton abundance and biomass and vertical distribution were determined in samples collected during the KAEMB Yamal-Arktika cruise aboard the R/V Professor Molchanov in August 2012. This expedition, organized by the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI, St. Petersburg, Russia), covered the western and central parts of the Kara Sea, the Yamal Peninsula coastal waters, including the ObÂ’ and Yenisei estuaries as well as the Pechora Sea (the south-eastern part of the Barents Sea).
