Summary:Weekly phenological measurements were made on eight vascular plant species over a nine-year period (1995-2003) in response to a season length extension manipulation by snow removal in the Spring and protection from snow build up in the Fall. One set of season manipulation plots also included a soil warming treatment applied by cold frame heating cables. Species were: Cassiope tetragona, Eriophorum vaginatum, Carex bigelowii, Ledum palustre, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Salix pulchra, Betula nana, Polygonum bistorta.
