Description
Summary:The NABOS-II data set includes data collected during summer (August-September) 2013 and summer (August-September) 2015 data. Data set for 2013 is called 2013.zip. It includes Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) survey and chemical observations. Data set for 2015 is called 2015.zip and includes 2015 CTD and chemical data and mooring data covering period from summer 2013 through summer 2015. The region covered by observations is the eastern Eurasian and Makarov basins and northern Laptev and East Siberian seas. CTD observations were carried out using standard SBE19plus equipment. Mooring observations included CTD measurements using SBE37 and temperature measurement using SBE56 and current measurements using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) 75 kHz and 300 kHz. In addition, CTD plus current measurements were conducted using McLane Mooring Profilers (MMP). Sea-level meters (BPR) and upward looking sonars (ULS) were also used. ULS data are not included in this archive because they are not processed due to lack of funding (we can provide raw data upon request). 2013 and 2015 observations are summarized in cruise Reports placed in corresponding data sets which include detailed information about the cruise (maps, tables with station coordinates etc.), description of all conducted observations and figures illustrating performance of all instruments. In addition readme files are provided for each type of measurements.
