Description
Summary:These data is part of the Gulf Watch Alaska (GWA) long term monitoring program, pelagic monitoring component. The dataset contains zooplankton biomass data from our summer surveys (2012-2015) in Prince William Sound, Alaska, it includes: date, time, latitude, longitude, depth, species and biomass (m3). Zooplankton samples were collected in the upper 50 m of the water column during daylight hours with a 150 micron mesh 0.25 m diameter paired ring net at most CTD stations. Samples were preserved in a 10% full strength formalin solution and later identified to the lowest possible taxon by stage and a subsample were weighed by Chris Stark at Stark Fisheries Research. Results are presented in .csv format.
