Description
Summary:These data are part of the Arctic IES component of the Arctic Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (IERP), sponsored by the North Pacific Research Board (NPRB), Collaborative Alaskan Arctic Studies Program (formerly the North Slope Borough/Shell Baseline Studies Program), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and the Office of Naval Research Marine Mammals and Biology Program. These data were collected during the Arctic IES cruise during August-September 2017. Data were collected at 1-2 depths within the water column on the 'grid' stations, as well as several other stations to fill in the spatial gaps. Samples were analyzed by FlowCAM image analysis to classify and quantify the large (> 20 um) particles present. There is a sample log file that indicates the volumes of samples and includes CTD data (T, S, chla fluorescence, etc) at the sample depth. There are separate files for each sample that include attributes for every particle classified (see the readme file for attribute descriptions and classification). File name format is Date of Collection_Station Name_CTD#_Depth_auto.csv as follows: DDMMMYY_XXXX to XXXXXXX_CTDXX_XXm_auto.csv. Two files have the time of run (HHMM) listed at the end of the file, since they are replicate samples. The data format is a csv file.
