Description
Summary:These data are part of the Arctic IES component of the Arctic Shelf Growth, Advection, Respiration and Deposition (ASGARD), sponsored by the North Pacific Research Board (NPRB), Collaborative Alaskan Arctic Studies Program (formerly the North Slope Borough/Shell Baseline Studies Program), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), and the Office of Naval Research Marine Mammals and Biology Program. These data are discrete samples for seston fatty acids. Samples were collected on the Arctic EIS cruise in early summer 2019 in the N Bering and Chukchi Sea. Samples were collected from Niskin bottles, filtered through a filter setup on GFF filters and later analysed for specific fatty acids using Gas Chromatography (see methods for further details). The entire data file is presented as a csv file. All fatty acid variables are presented as percentage composition.
