Description
Summary:These documents are part of the Arctic Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (IERP), sponsored by the North Pacific Research Board (NPRB), Collaborative Alaskan Arctic Studies Program (formerly the North Slope Borough/Shell Baseline Studies Program), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), and the Office of Naval Research Marine Mammals and Biology Program. These are the notes of the Chukchi Coastal Communities team's meetings. At the first meeting, held in March 2017 in Anchorage, Alaska, we discussed the project, our work, and our ideas about the ways that environmental change affects coastal residents and communities. At the team's second meeting, held in March 2018 in Anchorage, Alaska, they summarize discussions held about three questions central to the project, and also contain questions the Coastal Communities team has for other researchers in the Arctic IERP.
