Description
Summary:This dataset is from a project that used northern fulmar samples taken at breeding colonies (1992-2004) and from a bycatch necropsy program (2006-2016) to determine the genetic population structure of the species in Alaska and create a reference ‘baseline’ dataset for genetic stock identification. The specimens collected as bycatch in fisheries were genotyped and the data used to ascertain the proportion of bycatch from each colony and whether particular colonies are disproportionately represented in bycatch. This dataset is composed of 7 files that include data as well as R code used and developed as part of the analysis for this project: nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_Rproject.zip, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_reference.vcf.gz, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_RADseq_baseline.vcf.gz, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_bycatch_BAM_files2.zip, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_bycatch_BAM_files1.zip, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_baseline_genotypes.csv, nprb_1714_northern_fulmar_baseline_BAM_files.zip
