Description
Summary:This project developed a package to apply age-, size- and age-size-structured models. The tool will be available for use by stock assessment analysts, and is fully documented in Chapter 3 (technical description) and 7 (user manual) of the report of NPRB project 1304. The code for the model is written using Auto-differentiation Model Builder (http://www.admb-project.org/), which is freely available. The code can be compiled for Windows, Mac and Linux, but testing was restricted to the Windows platform. The code for the model will be made available via the Puntlab website (http://puntlab.washington.edu/). There are 3 data files archived for this project: EBSTannerCrab.DAT, EBSPacificCod, DAT, PribBlue.DAT. These files are raw-text input files that have been formatted to meet the model input specifications. They are based on re-formatted source datasets that are cited in the Methods section of this record. There are additional separate files, in tab-seperated format, describing the larger datasets used in the model, such as size-frequency of samples for a species. This dataset was generated under NPRB project 1304.
