Description
Summary:NCEI Accession 0156924 includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from HEALY in the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea and Bering Sea from 2015-08-09 to 2015-10-13. These data include CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-113 (CFC-113), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, Methane (CH4), NITRATE, NITRITE, SALINITY, SULFUR HEXAFLUORIDE (SF6), TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, pH, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and bottle. These data were collected by D. Kadko of Florida International University and Frank J. Millero, Dennis Hansell and Ryan Woosley of Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of the CLIVAR_ARC01_33HQ20150809 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: GN01 and HLY1502 The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
