Description
Summary:This data set includes census based carbonate budget data that was collected in coral reef habitats located near Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Surveys (based on Perry et al 2012) were conducted at Cheeca Rocks near the Map CO2 buoy. Six transect surveys (10m each) were conducted to quantify benthic cover, macrobioerosion, and microbioerosion. Ten parrotfish surveys were also conducted to account for parrotfish erosion rates. This carbonate budget data along with other sea water chemistry data were collected for the Class III monitoring site.
