Originator's data submitted in total of 43 tapes by Compass Systems, Inc. have been converted to the current NODC data storage format. Data were submitted by Mr. Arthur D. Stroud. These data sets contain physical profile data collected by multiple institutions spread across the world in different sea areas such as North Atlantic Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, South Pacific Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Coastal Waters of California, Coastal Waters of Washington/Oregon and Drake Passage using multiple ships.
