XBT and other data were collected from a world-wide distribution from the EMERALD INDAH and other platforms from 28 November 2000 to 29 May 2001. Data were submitted by the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meterological Laboratory (AOML) as part of the Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) program and include temperature profiles.
