Insect remains from an Alleröd peat at Lake Bysjön, South Sweden

An insect fauna in a peat layer from Lake Bysjön, South Sweden, 14 C‐dated to 11,200 ± 100 B. P. is described. The recorded insects indicate that the peat is of terrestrial origin and that it was formed in a subarctic environment.
