Summary:Two new species of harpacticoid copepods of the family Ancorabolidae are described from a subtidal site in Cape Armitage, McMurdo Sound, Antarctica. Laophontodes macclintocki sp. n. and L. spongiosus sp. n. are easily distinguished from the remaining members of the genus Laophontodes by the setal formula of swimming legs P2–P4.
