Description
Summary:ABSTRACT The normal anatomy of the distal part of the Sperm Whale penis is described from an adult male that stranded in the Firth of Forth, Scotland in 1997. However this individual had experienced a blockage and subsequent rupture of the penile urethra that probably led to its death, so that the structure of the basal part of the penis was obscured. The anatomy of the Sperm Whale penis is similar to that of most other cetaceans that have been examined.
