Growth backcalculations based on otoliths incorporating an age effect: adding an interaction term

An extension, including an age × length interaction, was developed for a recent model incorporating the age effect in the backcalculation of growth in length from otoliths. The interaction was demonstrated using empirical data from Arctic charr Salvelinus alpinus .
