Description
Summary:Abstract A new eusirid amphipod, Atylopsis fragilis n. sp., is described from material collected during investigations of the sublittoral fauna of Fildes Peninsula (south‐western part of King George Island). The animals live in populations of high density in areas influenced by the rather violent tidal current between King George and Nelson Islands, in depths between 10 and 60 m.
