Description
Summary:On the Occurrence of Priapulus tuberculatospinosus (Priapulida) in the Marine Fauna of King George, South Shetland Islands, Antarctica During the 26th Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 18 specimens of Priapulus tuberculatospinosus B AIRD , 1868 have been collected in 1981 to 1982 near King George Island, South Shetlands. Some essential characters of them are described and figured. Nearly 50% of these specimens show an atypical spinulation of the vesicules, by which they resemble the northern P. caudatus L AMARCK , 1816.
