Description
Summary:Abstract Carex marina Dewey is the name commonly applied to the short‐fruited variants of the C. glareosa complex. However, a comparison of the types of C. marina and C. amblyorhyncha Krecz. shows that they belong to the same taxon. The earlier name C. marina must therefore be used, and this necessitates a number of new names for taxa given names by Böcher under C. amblyorhyncha . These are made by him in a note in this paper.
