Here Guest‐Editors Michael Hensel and Christian Hermansen Cordua describe the ambitions and scope of the programme, and the projects that the studio has undertaken at extreme southern and northern latitudes, whether in Chile or in Northern Norway, highlighting the importanceof climatic and environmental factors in a local setting.
