Drug Controls in Iceland: Any Retreat in Sight?

Iceland has been marked by an opioid-crises, a problem of prescription of drugs and high numbers of drug-related deaths. The public has supported the strict policy of the country. However, there has recently been a number of initiatives from MPs and citizens to liberalize the drug policy.
