Experimental studies on combined production of CH 4 and safe long-term storage of CO 2 in the form of solid hydrate in sediment

34 mole% CO 2 is substituted into the methane hydrate by adding N 2 from injection fluid for increasing the performance. Liquid state is the fast mechanism for replacing in situ CH 4 with CO 2 and involves the formation of a new CO 2 hydrate.
