Description
Summary:Abstract In the article, the authors consider the features of the studied territory of traditional nature management in order to develop recommendations for optimizing the system of local environmental monitoring. The existing local regulations and requirements for the development and maintenance of local environmental monitoring systems are analyzed using the example of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The ecological efficiency of the local ecological monitoring systems has been proved and recommendations have been developed for the unification of this system. The information obtained in the course of the study showed that monitoring in territories of traditional nature use is a necessary procedure for the purposes of effective management of these territories. Finding a balance between the economic activities of industrial companies and the traditional use of natural resources by the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North constantly arouses interest in the scientific community, since the territories of traditional nature use are quite vulnerable and require special measures for their use and protection.
