Summary:The International Conference “Scientific and Technical Findings of the Arctic Exploration 2020: Present and Future” (Atcric-2020) continues a series of international conferences covering development of the Arctic region held on the basis of Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (NArFU) is the only university of the Russian Federation located on the territory of the Arctic zone. The University is one of the largest, as well as the most progressive educational and scientific center that focuses on the development and betterment of the Arctic region as part of the scientific initiative. The conference organizers are Business Communication Center (Prague, Czech Republic) and Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Arakhngelsk, Russia). In view of the Covid-19 restrictions, the conference was held online on 10-11 of September 2020, but this did not prevent us from getting a lot of pleasure from presentations of keynote speakers and our participants! The postponement of the conference meant uncertainty about the future date, while our participants and speakers were enthusiastic and did not experience problems with remote connections via ZOOM. Arctic-2020 had a traditional form of holding: a plenary session with 4 speakers (30 minutes each speech) and 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Then, thematic sections were held, where each participant made a presentation for 15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions and discussion. It was a great pleasure to welcome keynote speakers and all the participants to the International Conference “Scientific and Technical Findings of the Arctic Exploration 2020: Present and Future”, which brings together academics and experts in the field of construction and energy, environment, economics and materials science to discuss issues on the topic raised.
