Description
Summary:Abstract The glasses were found in the tuffisites of Orto-Yiarginskoe field (Anabar region, Arctic Siberia). The composition of the glasses is comparable with the composition of the glasses from the Popigai impact structure and the gneisses of the Archean basement of the Anabar folded system. The age of the studied glasses is comparable with the age of the glasses of the Popigai impact structure. Mineralogical studies were carried out using scanning electron microscopy (MIRA 3 LMU, Tescan Ltd) with the INCA Energy 450+ XMax 80 microanalysis system (Oxford Instruments Ltd). The age of the glasses is determined by the 40Ar-39Ar method in the Collective Use Center of the IGM SB RAS.
