| Summary: | Abstract The article describes the results of assessing the variability of the viscosity of reservoir oil from the Permian-Carboniferous reservoir of the Usinsk field, obtained on the basis of sampling, research and analysis of downhole samples. Emphasis is placed on the study of oil properties (viscosity, gas content, molar mass, resin content, etc.) in the edge of the reservoir; a number of regularities in the change in viscosity over the area and section of the reservoir have been identified, which can later be used to optimize technologies for the development of super-viscous oil. |
