Thersitina gasterostei (Pagenstecher, 1861) (Copepoda:Ergasilidae) from Gasterosteus wheatlandi Putnam, 1867

Thersitina gasterostei (Pagenstecher, 1861) is recorded, and figured for the first time from Gasterosteus wheatlandi Putnam, 1867. Specimens of T. gasterostei were also recovered from Gasterosteus aculeatus Linnaeus, 1758. All the fish examined were caught in Newfoundland.
