The life cycle is 1 year. Fifty percent maturity of the females occurs at 8.8 mm. Mature females produce successive broods, except between September and November when they are in the resting stage. Fecundity increases with the size of the female. Young of the November brood are released from the females in May and adults disappear in the summer. |
