Fecundity of the Yellowtail Flounder ( Limanda ferruginea ) from the Grand Bank, Newfoundland

Fecundity estimates made on 51 mature yellowtail flounder (Limanda ferruginea) from the Grand Bank ranged from 350,000 to 4,570,000 eggs per female. Fecundity depended mainly on body length and to a lesser extent on age.
